@pratik I do follow you but I didn’t see this, so thanks for sharing.

I don’t intend on making things that detailed, but I do have concerns about where things are going and who’s seeing what, similar to you.

For example, I’m thinking about separating out my home life stuff (e.g. photos of family) to a separate blog that’s not in the Micro.blog timeline and doesn’t get cross-posted to fediverse/bluesky. I’m debating offloading that to a self-hosted Ghost site I maintain, or a separate Micro.blog that’s not imported socially.

My main concern with categories was that RSS is slower, but I guess Echofeed mostly resolves that. But I also just don’t think I want things commingled on the same site.

Anyway, thanks again for helping me think this through a bit.
